Description

Shaxon’s TAA Compliant CAT 6A Slim Patch Cables are manufactured in the United States to meet Trade Agreements Act (TAA) requirements—perfect for secure, government, and high-density commercial installations. Designed for performance and space optimization, these ultra-slim cables feature stranded 28 AWG UTP construction and a compact, flush finger boot for precise fit and protection in crowded patch fields.

With a reduced 0.15-inch outer diameter, these cables significantly improve airflow and cable management in tight spaces, making them ideal for use in dense network racks, data centers, and patch panels. Despite the small form factor, these cables meet or exceed CAT 6A performance standards and are fully compatible with CAT 6 and CAT 5e systems.

Key Features:

  • Slim 0.15in Cable OD: Reduces bulk and increases airflow in high-density environments.

  • 28 AWG Stranded UTP: Offers superior flexibility for tight bends and frequent movement.

  • Flush Finger Boot Design: Protects the RJ45 clip while allowing side-by-side stacking in dense patch panels.

  • CM Rated Jacket: Complies with commercial building cable standards.

  • Made in the USA / TAA Compliant: Ideal for government, military, and federally funded projects.

Benefits:

  • Space-Saving Solution: Ideal for dense patch fields, data centers, and network closets.

  • Clip Protection & Stackability: Boot design guards the connector and allows clean horizontal stacking.

  • Flexible & Durable: Engineered for easy routing and long-term use without signal degradation.

  • High-Performance & Backward Compatible: Supports CAT 6A, CAT 6, and CAT 5e systems.

  • Custom Options Available: Offered in multiple lengths and colors with custom bundles upon request.

CATEGORY 6A
Category 6A (Augmented Category 6) cable supports high-speed 10GBASE-T Ethernet and is backward compatible with CAT 6, 5e, and 3 standards. It is ideal for modern network demands including data centers, high-speed workstations, and PoE applications.

CABLING STANDARDS
Published by ISO/IEC, CENELEC, and TIA, global cabling standards require backbone cabling to use solid-conductor cables ranging from 22 to 24 AWG. For patching purposes, stranded 28 AWG cables are preferred for flexibility in shorter runs and high-density setups.
